SFF 279 Silver and Gold

Okay you will have to bare with me on this one
The challenge is to use both silver and gold
My crafting and color skills are bag on it is the photography where I fail
The background is and all over gold glitter cardstock
I mounted that on silver
I stamped the MFP VIRTUOUS stamp in silver ink and out lined it with silver stickles
The owl is die cut on silver
This could not be more gold and silver
Come play at http://stampshop.com and see what you can do

Hard to believe it is the same card

  1. It is so difficult to take pics of glittery cards, but you have managed to give us a good idea of the finished card :o)

  6. It's lovely & sparkles just grand. The photography is difficult for me as well, and especially if there's some shine or glitter in the mix. Love what you've done on this one. It's very luxurious & rich looking too. Would never have thought to have an owl image on this kind of card, but it's delightful on this one! TFS & Happy wkend.

  9. I know how difficult it is to photograph anything glittery or sparkly, so I'll just use my imagination to visualize this in silver and gold! I'm sure it's much prettier in real life!

  10. It isn't you it is the camera. I have yet to see a picture of gold or silver sparkly paper the captures the glitter properly. Beautiful card Lis.

  12. fantastic card designs! If glitters have different colors in them, it's difficult to capture both the glitteriness and the color! Same with the holographic frame you have - difficult to capture on camera! That's why I usually take the photos from different angles LOL hugs de

  15. I so agree about how hard it is to photograph a truly shiny, shimmery card with metallic elements. PicMonkey.com free editing software has helped me a lot in making my photos look more like the real thing, but it is not perfect either.

I totally love this glittering beauty of a card you made, Lis. All the gorgeous shine makes this card extra special!
