Envelope Fold

Went to a workshop yesterday and was shown this envelope fold

The demo was on 12 x 12 double sided paper but this one is a bit smaller 10 x 10

This is the one time I don't use handmade paper it is not double sided
I made this as a thank you for a friend who passed me a bag of lace bits last week
There is an inside card but I sealed the handmade envelope before I thought to photograph it

  6. Lis, this is simply beautiful. I should take a workshop like this, because I can't make a decent envelope, and I think I must have every 'envelope tool' put out. My best results are from the gray WR Memory Keepers one, but I'm not real adept with that one either! (I'm ok if it's a standard size A2, but make it larger...mine always look clumsy). We're in Madeira Beach for the next few days. Would it be possible to have lunch somewhere we could both get to easily? No problem if not possible. TFS & Hugs. (and the lace looks lovely on the envelope.)

  7. Lis, you have outdone yourself! It is gorgeous! I imagine it looks just as beautiful on the inside. How nice that your friend will see the fruit of her generosity! Thanks again for the inspiration (looking forward to seeing you in a few weeks). Hope your leg is greatly improved, and that you are feeling well, Lis! xo

  8. Oh, my goodness.....I was on my way to comment on your MFP "use die cut negative as a mask" sample and got completely enchanted by your lovely piece here!!! Absolutely exquisite, Lis. I am in awe. That lace is beyond magnificent. (I wish I lived close enough to go to lunch with you!!)
